That is not all! About a decade ago, the resort has decided to hold some of its internal lagoon in order to invest in a Marine Turtle clinic. Close to 400 turtles (mostly juveniles) have had the chance to be treated. If you are lucky, you may witness a release of healthy turtles back in the ocean by the local association Te Mana o Te Moana. Beware, you might get emotional!
