Located in the South Pacific, French Polynesia is composed of five archipelagos : the Society Islands, the Tuamotu, the Gambier, Marquesas and Australs islands. With nearly 118 islands spread in the ocean, overseas territory is as large as the European continent. With such a distribution, French Polynesia offers a wide diversity to its visitors particularly from the standpoint of environment and culture.
